原發(fā)腫瘤（乳房、結腸、肺、前列腺癌）在形成生長早期，會釋放細胞進入血液循環(huán)。通過各種技術可以富集檢測這些循環(huán)腫瘤細胞的物理和生物性質。

循環(huán)腫瘤細胞，Circulating Tumor cell，簡稱CTC。CTC釋放點：原發(fā)腫瘤和轉移腫瘤。

CTC死亡后還會釋放出循環(huán)腫瘤DNA，Circulating Tumor DNA，簡稱ctDNA。

CTC和ctDNA的臨床應用

腫瘤檢測 CTCs和ctDNA應用腫瘤的早期檢測很受關注，面臨的挑戰(zhàn)是目前分析的特定性和敏感度。

預后評估 多種腫瘤已經(jīng)實現(xiàn)預后評估，尤其是乳癌。
